THEORETICAL PHYSICS SECTION

The Nature defines it as –

“Theoretical physics is the development of mathematical formalisms and computational protocols for describing all aspects of objects found in the world around us and their
interaction. This can involve both providing models for understanding empirical results or constructing self-logical theories for explaining phenomena beyond the scope of current experiments.”

Theory has always been a fascinating challenge amongst sophomores to fresh physics graduates to even an established physicist well into active research. The field is getting more and more advanced daily, demanding strong mathematical and coding skills apart from a solid base in the core topics of physics.

Are you interested to contribute to this arena in near future? With all your dedication and labour… to the worldwide theorist community? But not sure, how to make a start? Then our first tips to you all, the undergrad students; start being hardworking & enthusiastic from now onwards. Read more, solve more, and that’s the mantra.

Where to start reading? Your text and reference books, for sure. Dive into the e-book library section to find a variety of literature. Develop a habit to solve more and more problems.

Never forget to ask the questions… WHY? HOW? WHEN? WHERE? Develop a passion for computing. It is the best way to train the analytical part of your grey matter. A theorist can never do without computing nowadays.Arrange group study sessions and discussions amongst peers. It is a very funny yet useful process of understanding & learning.

Popular Science was good in your school days. But real Physics is far better than that.Instead of blindly surfing the web or getting indulged into mindless social media, get accustomed to physics literature in real sense. Ask your teachers!!

And finally, patience is a must have.
We would continue to update you regarding the latest developments in theoretical physics, in this page. Do stay tuned…
